Description

The Relica Etched Ceramic Vase offers a quieter interpretation within the Relica Collection, defined by its rounded silhouette and restrained banded detailing. With subtle cross-etched borders and a softly textured charcoal surface, it carries the same mineral character as the wider range while presenting a more understated profile.

Why You'll Love It

  • Rounded, balanced proportions create a calm, grounded presence
  • Subtle etched banding adds detail without visual weight
  • Chalked charcoal finish introduces tonal depth and texture
  • Works as a standalone piece or within a layered Relica grouping
  • Versatile shape suits consoles, shelving and sideboards
Materials & Finish

Crafted from ceramic with a matte blackened surface, this vase features lightly etched cross-motif banding around the rim and midsection. The body carries a fine, almost brushed surface texture with softly distressed highlights that reveal lighter undertones beneath the charcoal finish, giving the piece a gently weathered, artefact-like quality.

Dimensions
  • Length: 19 cm
  • Width: 19 cm
  • Height: 25 cm

Care & Use

Indoor use only. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. If using with fresh flowers, florist cellophane should be placed inside to protect the ceramic interior. Variations in surface texture, tone and etched detailing are inherent to the piece and form part of its character.

Styling Note

Style alone for a restrained look or pair with the more heavily etched Relica jugs to create contrast in detailing. Particularly effective with dried stems or left empty to emphasise its sculptural form and mineral surface.

Why We Love It

This vase introduces a softer rhythm to the Relica Collection. Its minimal banding and rounded proportions allow the surface texture to take focus, offering a quieter counterpoint to the more patterned pieces while maintaining the collection’s cohesive, archaeological aesthetic.
